2011台北世界設計大展 - 亞洲文創跨界創作展
這次的台北設計大展有非常豐富的各類設計領域展出內容，個人特別推薦亞洲文創跨界創作展：這是由書法藝術家董陽孜寫的「妙法自然」去延伸創作的展覽，針對書法文字意境所創作的海報作品，藉以發揚傳遞書法藝術美學。

「法自然」尋求的不僅是「應物象形」的模擬，更是「氣韻生動」的創造，
是以亦有「妙造自然」的說法，本展統合而稱之為「妙法自然」。

藝術模擬自然的思想，中西各有論述。
中國的詮釋以《老子》：「人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然」的說法，最為精要。
亦即是：「人」的生活受「地」的規約；「地」的情狀受「天」的規約；
「天」的運行受「道」的規約；而「道」的化育則受「自然」的規約。
因而既有「天地萬物」的外在「自然」；亦有「人性精神」的內在自然；
更包括了貫通內外永續生息的「自然」律則。
它們不僅指向藝術表現上的「盡美」；更在情神內容上，展示為對個人生命、社會生活與文化創造之「盡善」的追求。
董陽孜女士所分別書寫的二十四個字、詞，則或分或合的，掌握了「法自然」之內、外、律則三態的各種要旨與殊相。
由於「法自然」尋求的不僅是「應物象形」的模擬，更是「氣韻生動」的創造，
是以亦有「妙造自然」的說法，本展統合而稱之為「妙法自然」。

The notion that art is an imitation of Nature can be found in both East and West. “Following nature” is not only the imitation of external form; it is also the lively act of creation. Thus there is the saying that “Ingenuity creates Nature.” This exhibition combines these two sayings as “Ingenuity follows Nature.”

The notion that art is an imitation of Nature can be found in both East and West. In China, the most succinct formulation of this view is found Laozi: “Man follows Earth; Earth follows Heaven; Heaven follows the Way; and the Way follows Nature.
In other words, the life of “man” is regulated by “Earth”; the way things are on Earth is ordered by “Heaven”; the movements of Heaven are under the control of the Way; and the transformative and nurturing effects of the Way are governed by Nature. Thus Nature is present externally, in all living creatures between Heaven and Earth. It can be found internally, in the human spirit. It also inheres in the eternal Laws of Nature that permeate both the internal and external worlds. These three aspects of Nature manifest themselves not only in the pursuit of beauty in art, but also in our pursuit of goodness in our personal life, in our communal life, and in our cultural creativity.
The twenty-four characters that Ms. Tong Yang-Tze has written for this exhibition capture and manifest, by either a single word or phrase, the essence and notion of “imitating Nature” in its three aspects: internally, externally and its laws.
